On Friday night I took XX of Valium and I
slowly began to realize afterwards that it might
have not been a good idea.
My question is, how many Valium pills does it
take to overdose? If someone could please get
back to me on this I would greatly appreciate it,
as I am quite troubled over this matter.

Well first of all, if you are taking that much
Valium at once, then you obviously have a
problem and need help. With long term side
effects, you might not feel them, but they are
there in your body.

I apologise and did not mean to offend you. My
pills were stolen by a friend. I wanted to know if
he will be ok…since you’re speaking of suicide,
I guess he won’t be.
As for me… I do have my own battles. I was in a
motorcycle accident and this left me
handicapped with severe nerve damage.

I had an uncle commit suicide about 18 years
ago and I was angry. I saw all the devastation he
left behind. kids, grandkids.

As far as how he managed to steal it… he’s my
best friend. I’ve known him for 14 years, he
even has keys to my apartment…I just didn’t
think his mind was on this track.

your attitude first time I seen you? Well now
I’m wondering why he had access to your drugs,
and place. I know you said he was a best mate,
but my best mate doesn’t know where I stash
my drugs.
And you held back, you are a cop, and had
access to find him. Now you are on suicide
watch, yet you don’t want your wee daughter to
suffer.
If you are a cop, you are gonna be in the sh!t, if
it was your drugs. Ay.?? Is that the big worry?

I remember in your first post you mentioned
you were left handicap due to a motorcycle
accident. What is the extent of your handicap?
Just curious, because now you’re mentioning
you’re a cop/detective.
As for as if your friend suffered any pain, that’s
hard to answer. I would think with an OD, your
respiratory system suppresses and your body
shuts down. Like falling asleep and not waking
up.
There are no words I could type to make you
feel better I’m sure of it. But I can tell you this.
Your situation is in my heart and prayers. GOD
is with you.

About my injury. A lady coming out of her
driveway didn’t look for any traffic whatsoever,
so she slammed into me. I flew off the bike at
about 40mph directly into tree. Bottom line
now is that I can’t use my right fingers, I can
till move the arm. The problem is the pain.

drift off to sleep, and that would be it.

threats either. You can pay me a visit if you

What I am saying is, I am surprised they would
let you be behind the wheel with the amount of
meds you are taking. You are on some heavy
duty meds.
Here is what I don’t understand about you. You
are a cop, but you come on the forum asking us
to help you find your friend after he stole your
meds. Why not use the resources you have at
your disposal?
You said he took all of your medicine. Now you
have nothing for yourself.
I live in California, near disneyland. You
admitted you have a problem in an earlier post.
Your story doesn’t make sense, that’s all. I will
be waiting for your visit.

Ladies, I have been suspicious of the story from
the beginning… although I gave him the benefit
of the doubt. I kind of felt bad for him, figuring
him to be a lonely guy looking for attention.
I changed my mind when he threatened
Doc.Rose. Plus, I do not believe you could be
on active duty with that kind of drug intake
PLUS the handicap. PLUS, if he is in such pain
and is, no doubt, addicted, why is he not
freaking out about ALL his meds being gone.

counseling! It was so obvious he wasn’t a cop,
just by the way he writes! He is all over the

But he needs to ask for help and stop playing
games. And who would threaten someone like

bit about having his phone number! I am sure
we won’t hear from him again.

Silas Parry is an artist and writer from Scotland. In 2014 he was a recipient of the Edinburgh Visual Artist Award 2014, and a fellowship at the Vermont Studio Centre (US). This year Silas has a residency at Summerhall Gallery, Edinburgh, which will culminate in an exhibition Possibility of Another Place, opening April 3rd until May 22nd.
